I will often call in sick at my job so I can do just that... :)

I'm frantically doing laundry so I have clean clothes for the weekend.

Laundry is usually done on the weekend, but...

Otherwise I'm ready to go. Everything is packed tightly in to the car. I'll be flushing the brake system with some proper fluid friday when I arrive. other than that I'm set.

I just hope the stock pads are going to be alright...

My full time job IS working on cars. Then I come home and wrench on my junk. ;)

Thank God the wife is understanding and somewhat enjoys racing. She digs the fun stuff like going to the track and helping out. Just dont ask her to do any wrenching.

I need another weeks worth of time.

Without getting into details, I found out my Bimmer needs bottom end last weekend. It has been a scramble since then. She should be up and running by lunchtime, fingers crossed.

Since I started this thread it hasn't been 24 hrs yet and it feels like 2 days have passed.
Although with final preparations are commencing and my tires are mounted, will change brake fluid tonite as well as washing the car and putting my numbers on it.

With a suggestion from my buddy Cullen I will start off using my regular street tires and then put on my track wheels on when I feel confident with my car control. That is my goal for Saturday and after that is done depending on the outcome I'll set a new goal for Sunday. Although I think Cullen and I will be practicing Sat. nite. ;)

Oh, and I have about a 20min. drive to the track from my house.
