As mentioned in the other thread, we are planning on throwning a "deal" at the NASA RM headquarters in Elizabeth (i.e. our house) on Saturday afternoon/evening.
All NASA members & staff are invited regardless of if you had signed up for LaJunta or not. Bring kids, family & spouses.
Please RSVP via this thread or email info@NasaRockyMountain.com at give us a head count so we can plan food & drinks.
Time: Saturday April 14th - 4pm
Location: Elizabeth. See below for directions.
Food & Drinks: We will have wings, burgers, boca-burgers, snacks & appetizers. I'll grab a keg of something that resembles light-beer. If you prefer something darker or with taste - feel free to bring it. We'll have sodas, water & juice bags.
Entertainment: We will premiere the DVD from the NASA Nationals, SlotCars, VideoGames.
Directions: 1497 Buttercup Road - Elizabeth CO
If you get "misplaced" call 720-810-4850. Since we are about 1 mile down a dirt road and there will most likely be some mud, please plan your vehicle choices.
From the North of Castle Rock:
Take either E470 or Parker Road to Parker. Go south on Parker Road to Franktown and head east (left) on Hwy 86 to Elizabeth. When you arrive in Elizabeth turn left at the stoplight just past the Safeway onto County Road 13. Travel north on CR13 approx 5 miles to CR150 and turn left. At the first right turn onto Quail. At this point it is dirt road - follow keeping to the right onto Buttercup Road. House is approx 1 mile after you turn onto dirt.
From the South of Castle Rock:
You can take either Hwy 83 to Franktown or I25 to Castle Rock and head east on Hwy 86 to Elizabeth. When you arrive in Elizabeth turn left at the stoplight just past the Safeway onto County Road 13. Travel north on CR13 approx 5 miles to CR150 and turn left. At the first right turn onto Quail. At this point it is dirt road - follow keeping to the right onto Buttercup Road. House is approx 1 mile after you turn onto dirt.
