Can I pay/register day of the event?

Is there a list of "Tech Inspectors" near me?

What kind of turnout are we expecting for this event?

the easiest way to register is on line. go to the bottom of the forum page and click the link. follow it the registration link. you could risk signing up at the track but risk a couple of things by doing so - 1. being in HPDE 1 you will need an instructor, showing up the day of the event you risk not having an instructor available and thus probably not allowed on track. we will try to have an instructor or two in reserve, but there is no guarentee of this. the scond risk you run - the groups may be full and have no vacancies to put you in.

i believe david is working on tech inspectors in a variety of areas and that should come up in the next few weeks - dave?

i'll let dave answer the third question. :)

You can pay/register at the track, but with the caveat that Kevin gave. As I expect HPDE 1/2 to be close to capacity, I wouldn't risk it. Also, in general it will cost you $50 extra to register at the track. We plan to waive this extra charge for 2006 to be more user friendly:).

Your closest shop is MacAutosports in Parker. Call Bill for an appointment. http://www.macautosport.com/ 303.841.1176

We're shooting for ~60 cars and we're about 1/3 of the way there. Not bad for 5 weeks before the event - things are really starting to pick up.

Dave, what time will people need to be there in the morning? We should probably mention that in the Calendar as well.

The schedule will be ready about 2 weeks before the event, but until then...

The Mandatory HPDE meeting starts at 8am. If you miss the meeting you will miss track time.

Let's work backwards from that....

Provided you have taken care of tech on your car prior to the event and you have registered online all you need to do is sign in at the gate. The wait at the gate first thing in the morning may take 10 minutes - so account for that.

If you need to unload your car, check pressures, torque your wheels, go to the bathroom, etc - you should allow 1/2 hour for that.
We'll open the gates about 6:45am. I'd say if you're pulling in about 7am to 7:15am you're good.

Note: First cars go out at around 8am. Due to Pueblo having the paddock in the middle of the track - you can't get into the paddock w/cars on track. If you show up at 7:59am, you may end up waiting an additional 20 minutes or so to get across the track.
