What do you think? Tommy, Chris, RayBob, Dave, anyone, anyone, is this thing on?
hmmm... last year we had an area for the rm folks. if there was a split, i would end up missing the tommy/raybob show (aka the chicken/tranny show). granted it wasn't paved.
i would be bummed :(

I am all for group unity, I was as suprised and bummed as anyone about the way the pit's worked at Pueblo. It seemed like those from the same run groups kinda of hung out together. I just assumed(and you know what they say about assuming)that it would be the same at the nationals. Sorry, we could definately do a RM pit for sure. We just need to get on it.

Great minds think alike...or at least a few of us do, anyway.
I started a similar kind of thread under the Nationals forum. It's good to talk this through.
Seems to me we can either do grouping by classes, or by regions. Personally, I think I'll get more out of grouping by classes, if for no other reason than a better chance of being able to find a part I might need... But I don't want anyone in RM to misinterpret.
OMG, I just re-read that last paragraph. What was I thinking?! Knuckle-draggers don't care about the feelings of others! ;)
In any event, I can jump on this pretty quickly.

given tommy's new rig (as well as mine) we would each need one of those 20'x87' spots.
hey tommy, ya wanna park next to each other? (i can park anywhere cause i'm like the only su going i guess)
what about you dave b?

Cody,
I am in for the AI/CMC group spot with the Texans.
No offence to any RMR guy's, we were 100' from them last year.

I'll think about a 3rd. What do these suckers cost?
Or, do we setup a RMR paddock compound in the grass? I'll bring the big BBQ, the beer dispenser, sheets of plywood and the riding lawnmower.
McComb, park with us and you can have parts of our(phantom) car.

I just reserved three 10x40 spots for $300. I'm wondering if side by side or an "L" shape is better.

you think we can all get in there? 30'x40' (my rig is 75' long, my trailer alone is 46' plus the tailgate)

Those three are for me!!!! What if we both did 3 and we took 6 spots total? That would give us 90x80 and would be the start to an RM compound.
I'm looking at a spot near the 944 compound (middle paddock close to grid, concessions and fuel pumps). It should be fairly flat. + if he's nice we can let Chuck park the van there. Heck we might even let Cullen hang out :p.
Anybody else want in on space in the RM compound? I can get a group discount if we snag enough spots. Let's start a list and I'll have Bryan put X of them aside.

I was thinking of renting the whole deal so no one else could race...then I could take a 1st place (insert evil laugh here)

Not that I know of. Must be another "green machine". We all know that there is only one real "green machine".
