I would like to officially announce our Group Leaders.

Group 4: Don Burch
I've been driving on race tracks for about 9 years now, and have been invloved in instruction, tech, saftey steward, corner working, waiver signing, sweeping etc. My trusty street car (98 mustang) has over 2700 miles of actual race track milage on it (without damage :-)) and I am in the middle of a race car restoration (ex-IMSA and GAC racer) which I hope to have rolling by the end of 2006.

My plan is to enter the NASA racing scene as well as HSR and SVRA once the racer is done. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone in the group.

Group 3: Chuck Taylor
my last car was a homemade GT1 style mustang SVO . http://www.rothfam.com/chuck/ . kind of low on power most of the time (250-350 hp) but a blast to drive with those tires. my interest currently is with the spec 944 class and i hope to have one ready for march but MMP is a better bet. I have raced a turbo 911 and a few other cars. pca instructor. My day job is also instructing about 5 years of flight instructing in the navy and i'm currently a United Airlines instructor (7+ years).

looking forward to our first event

Group 2: Rick Snyder
I've been instructing for 5 years and racing for 4. I started out in the old Quattro Club driving an A4 Avant and moved into SCCA Club racing shortly after when my family started a car racing team, Snyder Motorsports. After three years in Club Racing we moved up to the Speed World Challenge and I competed as a rookie last year. As for instructing, I've worked with the Audi Club, Ford SVTOA, and several other local clubs.

All of our group leaders are qualified to instruct in all groups - so if they are not busy with an assigned participant, ask them for some pointers.

Please welcome these guys and don't be too rough on them.:)
