HPDE + T-tops =

So I am working on a guys 86 T-top mustang and need to know if I need to do anything with the T-tops before he hits his first HPDE.

Dude wants to go racing however I dont think he should tear up the kinda rare T-top car. He will probably get his feet wet in the T-top car and then move onto a solid roof car.

I'd take the glass T-top sections out when on track and install subframe connectors.

I agree. There's nothing wrong with keeping them in, but removing them is probably a better idea.

Just tell Joel to cough up some cash and get the cage in it already. Oh yea, maybe do a track session first.

Even in HPDE, if it's a t-top, I would want a cage in there.

Already have ALL of the chassis braces on the car.
